Blackhawks are SO in right now.

The Chi Town Blackhawks won in a SO against the Vancouver Canucks, continuing their regulation point streak. With this win, they are now currently tied with the Anaheim Ducks  for longest point streak without a loss at the start of a season.

We all know the Blackhawks are gewd, but who could have predicted they would make the Western Conference their b*tch. So which Blackhawks are soaring high? Let me tell you!

Lend me Sugar Ray Emery

Ray Dog has been guarding the Chicago net with tenacity as he has blocked 29 of 32 shots taken at him during regulation and OT.  With Corey Crawfrod's injury, I'm sure many fans were nervous to have the Razor back in net after last season's goalie-go-round. But this boy is showin the world his teeth. Emery had a great game last night against the Vancouver Canucks , only allowing 3 goals on 32 shots with a SV% of .906, and extending his personal win streak to six. He even denied two of three shootout attempts.  Who let the dog out?

Pat The Pats: Patrick Sharp & Patrick Kane

Hot 1 (Patrick Kane) and Hot 2 (Patrick Sharp) are HAWT and I mean like 212 degrees Fahrenheit.

Hot 1 brings the party on and off the ice. Thus far Kane has put up 9 goals and 13 assist with a plus minus of 9. I just wish he would play hockey shirtless.

Hot 2 and his chiseled chin are responsible for 4 goals and 10 assists.  Next time you have a 10 game goal drought, Sharp, I'll assist you.

Do you think the Blackhawks will be able to set the new record for most points at the start of a season with out a loss? My prediction is: CHYEA!

  1. The saddest part is almost every name you mention in this post is either a former Flyer or should have been drafted by the Flyers if it wasn't for the worst luck in draft lottery history.

  2. One of the worst moves the flyers ever made was trade away Patrick Sharp. It seems like philly has this weird tendency to trade away players that go on to win the cup the next year. Haha who knows maybe JVR on Toronto will Hoist the cup this year. I couldn't see that happening unless Phil Kessel starts producing more then 3 goals in 17 games.
