Back and forth, East and West, the Blues and the Avalanche were all over the place. An exciting game turned out to be the clash of the goalies. The blues registered 33 shots, while the Avalanche put 20 pucks on net. Shots and take-aways proved not to be deciding factors.
If its not a blow out game, you might as well conclude that it's like a bird and may want to fly away! Timberland, Nelly Furtado, yeah....
Night after night, this season has proven that any team can win, regardless of statistical edge....unless your squad is going up against the Blackhawks. Though, I must add that we think they're due for a loss sooner or later. Most likely after they set the record for most points to a start of a season with out a loss.
Too many teams are just a couple wins away from the top of the charts...too many people also wear Oakley sunglasses, a company that just so happens to make the shades that transform anybody into a douche.
When the Blues took on the Avalanche, even the lower torso injury to the Crazy Czech, Milan Hejduk couldn't stop the Colorado Avalanche from coming out on top. Injuries, however, are proving to be a deciding factor in this shortened 48 game season. So, when a team rallies together to put a puck in the net with seconds left on the clock, saving an OT SO, it might not just be a matter of who wants it more but what your playing for.
From the dump and chase to the forecheck, through and through, it was a great game, and it was fucking rad.

ReplyDeleteHaha the first goal scored by Grossman was hilarious! I have never seen a more garbage goal in my life. All those players flopping around on the ice! Where the hell was Vokoun? I think i saw him out around the face off circle when the flyers finally put it in the net.
